Select Temp probe blank

Hi, I'm setting up my reef pi for the first time and I'm adding a temp probe in the software.  I add a distinct name then try to select a probe but no dropdown menu comes up.  Do I need to wire in the probe 1st or am I missing something?  Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken, yeah you need to wire in the DS18B20 before anything will show up. They have a unique internal address which is used so the software knows what sensor is what, once you plug it in something show appear in that drop down box.
