Hey All!
Has anyone else had this issue on the temperature display??
Just wired up my DS18B20s and I was testing them inside the hood. WOW! I knew they ran hot, but...
I posted this in the Software Section because I feel it's just a coding issue with the way the display changes from 2 places and a tenth decimal readout to when the readout is to display full three places (no decimal part) after the temp reads 100 degrees F. Rob, I am still on v 1.5 and I don't know if you caught this yet in v 1.6 I've not seen anyone else mention it.
I was watching the display as the temp increases. All is normal until during the rise to 98.7 98.8 98.9 99.0 then it jumps to 990! My guess is the way the software is handling the transition from 2 places + one place decimal (for 99.9 degrees F and under) display to 3 places (100 and greater). It seems to have this issue with 99.1 99.2 99.3... 99.9
Rob, Just thought I'd give you something to do with all that spare time you have
