Web Access Connection Issue
#41
If you generate user/pass do you get one? yes I get both

If you use 192.168.1.14:7626 in a browser does it ask for credentials? yes it does

Does the globe go green on the display under the time? I have no idea I always look at the plugs to make sure they are but I don't rcall seeing the globe being green

tupac try turning off your anti virus I finally got the web site to come up and doing a element inspection I can see Kaspersky is pissed it is running but is allowing it

my globe did not turn green till I connected to the page I used the generate login and password button then put that in the webpage and it let me login and do everything and the globe was green. but still have all that other crape on there from serial3

Local Ip 0.0.0.07626
External Ip is that big long list of numbers from before goes to the other end right off the screen then 20038:7626over rights hours where it asks how many you want till it checks again

So you do have it working Rott?

When you open the webpage again, on the display go to settings, customize, outlets and then exit the screen, this will fix the relays on the webpage. This is something I need to fix, it needs to be done every time you power down the expansion hub and power it up again. Its not loading the eeprom settings so going to this screen sends the proper outlet info.

I assume everything on the webpage is working, you get sensor data, change relay states and feed fish?

For the network info, if you hit retrieve info, does it tells you its retrieving it and then shows something like the following?

Username: jew93kjsd
Password: 8782jnhds
Local IP: 0.0.0.0:7626
External IP: 200036 192 200037 168 200068 200036 192 200037 168 200068

The way its setup now the globe only goes green when you have the page open but I'm going to change that so when its connected to the router its green.

One thing to try rott, press the reset button on the Due on the expansion hub while its powered up, then wait about 2 minutes and go to settings, system and see if you get a local IP show up.

Hey Tupac, what connector board are you using? Does JP11 have 1 or 2 pins? Are you experiencing exactly the same thing as rott? If you use your local IP address with :7626 at the end does it ask for credentials?

I'm going to make a simple sketch to retrieve this info to rule out different things. Unfortunately I caught a nasty cold about 4 days ago and now its in my body and head so I don't feel so great at the moment, there goes my 10 year sick free streak....

I would say mine was broke or some thing if it was just mine but Tupac has it to. Ok now maybe I can help Tupac I hope I put in a new ip address in the sketch
at line #31 IP Address ip(192,168,1,15); // Local IP Address
that is the ip I wanted it to be and I have nothing on my network at that ip so off we go and then DHCP kicks in and the read out from the SD card says every thing is good and we are ready to go and my ip address's is IP Address ip(192,168,1,14) well if that is true than that would be the reason why the internet page doesn't work..going to make it now so the pass word and Login box will take 4 letters instead of 9

You have to use the IP address the controller generates and adding it to line 31 does nothing. It needs to connect via DHCP otherwise alerts won't work. You're connecting via DHCP so need to add anything to the sketch.

The username and password has to be 9 characters each.

Ok that is a bummer but I can roll with it wanted to use my own p/w instead of that generated stuff there is no way I would remember that random string of numbers and letters
every time my dogs kill some thing I tell them best dogs ever that is more than 9 letters

good Idea I got to get me a couple of those kinda dogs LOL LOL I will come up with something

was wondering when you tested are boards did you have your controller attached to your tank with a temp probe or stuff plugged in maybe it is some kinda grounding problem or some thing. My stuff is just sitting on my desk the new expansion board gets power from the PSU in the main box I did a way with the walwart for it and I only have 2 wire wiring in my house it is very old house most of the plugs in my house don't have a 3rd hole for ground even if they do nothing hooked up to it :) that is the only thing I can think of unless it is some thing in the code.
