Pre update zeigt seriell fertig an , komisch ist das wenn man früher am Controller den reset gedrückt hat das das das display auch resettet ist

That's normal, when controller is started up it tries to restart the display as well.

Try the following. Upload pre-update to controller again. After uploading pre-update disconnect from computer and do a full power cycle. Then wait 7 minutes and upload 5.11 again.

That can happen, if display is sitting on splash screen and controller is reset the display might not reset that's why I mention the power cycle.

I see nothing wrong with the hardware as you get eeprom = 50 but don't get startup completed so it must be a setting as this is known to happen. Sorry but you have to try the pre-update again, make sure Arduino is mounted on controller board and watch serial monitor to make sure it says "finished" after 5-7 minutes.

Hab ich schon 3 mal gemacht , immer nach 7 min fertig im seriellen monitor dennoch kein Controller start , ich weis nicht was ich machen soll

Ich habe jetzt mal v 4.2 auf den controller und display installiert, der controller sagt startup complet das widerholt sich aber ca alle 5 sec , das display reagiert auch auf reset am controller

Hab danach das preupdate auf v5.11 gemacht und v5.11 installiert .kein start seriell Monitor schreibt

Thanks, I will email you 5.12 (just released) with some extra code so we can see what's stopping it. What you experience from 4.2 is probably normal as eeprom is messed up for it. Check email in 5 minutes.

Great thanks, it's hanging up when it tries to calculate the schedules, I sent another sketch that skips that step so it should startup, if so go to settings, system and press restore defaults. After that happens and controller restarts, upload the normal v5.12 controller sketch.

Hmmm, that doesn't make sense, if you got to 16 last time you should have definitely see 17, as you see 15 means it didn't get as far.

Can you go to the _web.h tab in controller sketch, scroll to bottom and uncomment the serial.print lines to see if they show up when it starts?

You mean it keeps restarting itself or display starts up and stays ok?

Wow, this is really odd. I sent an updated pre-update sketch, load on display and controller and wait the 7min till it says finished. Then upload v5.12 and hopefully you get an OK button on display. Try a power cycle as well.

Any chance you have anything connected to the SCL/SDA pins such as an Atlas circuit?
