Dosing pump with stepper motor
#1
Hi all,

I want to build a stepper motor dosing pump. Robo tank doesn’t support it yet. In the meantime, i need a workaround. Found this video today.

Anyone has any ideas how to make this work with current robo tank firmware? Thanks

Hi mytdbm, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. That should work on the hardware, you get get pins from a DB9 on the main controller if you aren't using both of them.

For software reef-pi does have support for a stepper motor so you could try that. If you wanted to add to my app you could do it if you are a little comfortable with the code. As the example is for Arduino it wouldn't be much different, you would just have to figure out how to integrate it.
