Wave Maker Setup
#1
I just ordered a small DC wave maker for my nano tank and while it does come with a controller it would be cool to control via the robo tank and reef pi.  I see in the reef-pi git and instructions it mentions controlling a wavemaker but has anyone else set one up?  I assume its a 0-10v pwm input but I'm not quite sure how I would control it in reef-pi other than with lighting timers.  The git page mentions macros but I'm not sure how creating an infinite loop would work and I've also had issues with timers using a macro unless it was a single step.  I purchased the powerhead linked below if it matters.

I don't think that pump operates on 0-10v signal, I think it's a 12v DC pump and they adjust the output. You can check controller output with a volt meter but I'm thinking you would use a DC port.

Yeah there are no controls for a wavemaker, using light modes is the only option but I think if one gets creative a decent control could be setup, might take quite a few modes though.

I just discovered the Jebao SW-4 and SW-8 and a input for 0-10v analog control so these are nice options as well.
