how do you hook it up to the controller?

sure does look more accurate and reliable than the simple 12v versions..

How do they connect? It doesn't say what kind of power they use or how they work, only see 2 terminals for power.

if you look at the ones with the blue centers you can see the 3 wires coming out the black ones have a pad on the back you have to solder your own to

use this link under the big picture change it to #5 of the little one under the big one and you will see 4 wires. There is a hot and a ground then the other 2 wires just tell it to move forward or backward just like any other stepper motor. They only have an ip rating of 31 (Protected from condensation) so they are not suitable for aquarium use

What gets connected to the 2 wires to tell it to move forward or backwards? Voltage? Does different voltage on the main power affect the speed it runs?

you're not hanging the dosing pumps in your tank right?
mine are just in the stand hooked up to a pvc pipe which is running from my pump to my aquarium so they stay dry in a dry cabinet..

condensation is enough to make them stop working other words just being around close to water people have to remember these pumps are not for the aquarium trade yes some are but these I LINKED TO are not at this point some one will sell it to you as one. I am sure of that and some one will buy it I am sure of that. and it will burn up I am also sure of that. But till a real water proof one come out I will hold on to my money
