PH-Control
#1
Hi Rob, thanks for your good work!

About the PH sensor I have a question:

Is it possible to control the outlet with the PH sensor in dependence of time?
Example: I want in the time between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm the outlet is ON if the PH is more than 7.1 and if the PH is less than 6,8 the outlet switch OFF.
In the time between 8:00 pm and 9:00 am the outlet should be always OFF.....

The second idea is the 2-point calibration of the PH probe:
The advantage is, that probes from different manufacturers can be used and the measurement is more accurate.
It works like this: At the first step the probe is adjusted with the first calibration-liquid to pH 7.0.
In the second step you use the other calbration liquit with PH 4,0 and stretch the scale of the probe until PH 4,0 is reached.

The third point is that it is easy to show on the display the CO2 mg/l:
The user needs to specify one time the °KH and with the actual PH-value the controller can calculate the CO2 content
(long time ago I send you the Info's about that)
I hope you understand what I mean (my english K0587 ) and you find sometime the space to integrate this in the software.

Thanks Roland, I'm working on it, I'm trying to get you on board. :)

Next update should allow for control of any or all outlets, dosing pumps and water pumps based on any sensor readings such as PH. You'll be able to set 4 different levels, for example on two of the values the set actions will happen when the PH is below these levels. The other two values you set actions will occur when the readings go over these levels. It also has a feature to override the schedule or not. If you override the schedule the actions work anytime, the schedule still triggers but the actions takes priority. If the schedule says an outlet should be on but an action says it should be off, it'll be off. If you only want the outlet controlled by actions you can disable the schedule in the schedules screen. If you don't override the schedule in the actions the action only occurs when the schedule is on, if the schedule is set to off the actions won't run, this is how you want it.

I was planning on calibration for the different probes, up to 3 point if the probe allows it. A user could select, 1, 2 or 3 point calibration. I started it however I put it to the side until I finish some other important things, a few more things I'll get it finished.

I think I understand your third point, basically a user would set a KH level on the controller, this would do math with the ph value and calculate the CO2? Can you email or post that chart again with the math? I'll definitely add it as it shouldn't take up to much space and another water parameter is a good thing.
