So I was embarrassed yesterday, I was showing off the controller to someone, went to adjust the LED's and bad things happened, the communication between the Arduinos choked. At some point I must have changed something not knowing it. It has been fixed and works better than ever. The code was optimized and the slider controls are much more responsive now.
