Power bar input voltage?
#1
I have a power bar on the way, but I'm rolling my own controller - not using the Robo-tank one. Will I need to step up the voltage from the raspberry pi gpio pins to 12v myself, or is that happening on the power bar board?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Frank, you can connect the power bar to an microcontroller directly as it carries the necessary circuits and has a 12v adapter to power the relays, just need 8 signals and a common ground. Here's the pinouts, you can see which pin is ground.
