Robo-Tank v6.6 is Ready
#81
Thanks. The stepper motors will need a stepper driver and the good thing is these connect directly to GPIO's so you can use a DB9 if you have one free and the LED ports should work as well. A person can DIY with basic driver or at some point I'll have a module to keep it clean and easy.

Sounds good on the EC circuit, hopefully I can get that sooner than later.

Hi Rob,

Having connected the driver to the led port, how can we program robo-tank to control the driver? Is this something we can do ourselves or do we need to wait for a future release?

Sorry for the silly questions.

Hi Dilshan, no worries, on the home page at the bottom click on "lights" there you can add light modes but they are basic right now.

Before this you need to go to the "configure ports" screen, click on the ports you have the drivers connected to and change the function to "Light". Whatever you want to do with a port you need to tell it here and then it'll show up where it should.
