Using powerbar with 3rd party hardware
#1
I just want to confirm that I have the way the power bar works correct. I believe that sending 3.3v down each outlet pin, along with a common ground, will turn the outlet on?

I am working on a build using some Widget Lords boards and have some extra 3.3v relay outputs. Using a Robo-Tank power bar rather than sourcing DIN relays that can use 3.3v seems to be an easier route.

Yeah that's how the power bar works, you can connect each channel directly to a GPIO pin, the power bar has a circuit to handle the load from the relay. You need 8 signals and one common ground. There's an internal power supply to power up the relays.
