Image SD and reload

Hi - a quick question.
When reloading an image do i need to reload reef pi?

I did an image and when putting SD back in to Pi - reef pi just keep saying loading and no connect.
I formatted the SD and started again and everything is good.

But I would like to back up the SD - will it save all the reef pi setting?

Hi Dukereef, what program did you use to create the image?

Win32 Disk Imager is a good program to use, select the SD card, click read and it'll create the .img file. To restore you just have to use the write button in the program. When it's restored everything will be as it was including wifi and all other settings.
