I, too, am very interested in this. I love the noctua fans since they are PWM controlled. I use 2 of their industrial IP-rated fans in my canopy to act as a chiller.

Have them set up as a chiller in reef-pi. Haven't tested them yet, since it's not yet warm here in Michigan.
Using a squirrel cage would be great.
These flow 18CFM, but operate at 6K RPM. Says they are 25db though, so that's really quiet.
Is 15mm too tall?
