Dosing pump

Hey, I'm looking to DIY a dosing pump. What hardware would I need if I have the deluxe controller? 

I'm looking at this write-up https://learn.adafruit.com/reef-pi-guide...ller/parts. Is there anything I don't need besides the raspberry pi?

Can I just wire the pump in that list to the DC port?

Hi, yeah you can connect the pump directly to a DC port as long as it's 12v which most are. Here's a couple more.
