LED Stripes - roland33 - 06-20-2016 Hi Rob, I have several LED RGB Stripes, 24V fixed voltage. What kind of drivers do I need to dim the LED-stripes with the robo-tank controller? Where can I buy this drivers? Please could you show me an example. RE: LED Stripes - Guest - 06-20-2016 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CP18J4A/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 these stepper motor uln2003 and a 24v power supply would work http://ikennd.ac/blog/2011/09/arduino-dioder-part-one/ you can use those stepper motor boards to put this together RE: LED Stripes - Guest - 06-20-2016 Thanks, I belive I understand. If I need more than 600mA for each chanel is it able to connect two ore more chanel oft the ULN2003 or is there a better way? RE: LED Stripes - Rob F - 06-20-2016 Hi Roland, you can use basically any N-channel mosfet like the IRLB3034, this one handles something like 30amps. I'm waiting for a new board that holds 4 mosfets for 4 channels to make life easier. When you choose a mosfet make sure its good for 24v, they all wire up the same. http://joost.damad.be/2012/09/dimming-12v-led-strip-with-mosfet-and.html RE: LED Stripes - roland33 - 06-21-2016 Thanks for your answer! works this item with the controller on the right way? http://de.aliexpress.com/item/Four-Channel-4-Route-MOSFET-Button-IRF540-V4-0-MOSFET-Switch-Module-For-Arduino/32326885309.html?isOrig=true#extend RE: LED Stripes - Rob F - 06-21-2016 Yeah it looks like it should work. |
